The short version: This website is provided for informational purposes to help you learn about our services and request a consultation. Any actual advisory engagement, code assessment, or reporting we perform for you is governed by a separate signed engagement agreement, which controls in the event of any conflict with these terms.
Provenance Advisory, LLC ("Provenance Advisory," "we," "us," or "our") operates provenanceadvisory.com (the "Site") and provides technical privacy assessment and evidence-based advisory services. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
If you become a client, you may be granted access to a client workspace containing your engagement's reports, findings, and related artifacts. Access is limited to authorized users, is strictly isolated from other clients' data, and must not be shared with unauthorized parties. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Provenance Advisory provides technical privacy architecture assessment and evidence-based advisory services. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and nothing on the Site or in any report, finding, or artifact we produce should be construed as legal advice or a guarantee of legal compliance. We map technical findings to relevant regulatory obligations for your legal, compliance, and audit teams to review — we do not certify or attest to compliance with any law or regulation.
These Terms apply to your use of the Site itself. Any actual advisory engagement — including scope, deliverables, fees, confidentiality, intellectual property, and liability terms — is governed by a separate signed engagement agreement between you and Provenance Advisory, LLC. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
The Site, including its content, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Provenance Advisory, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content except as permitted for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Provenance Advisory, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. This limitation does not apply to liability arising under a separately signed engagement agreement, which is governed by its own terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the Site. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
